Tours: Educators have the opportunity to choose from a range of tour and programs available lasting between an hour to 2 hours 30 minutes. Descriptions of tours and programs, as well as their fees, may be found here.
Tours must be registered at least three days prior to visit; however, it is recommended that educators give at least two months notice for fall and winter trips, and up to four months for spring trips due to high demand and limited space. To reserve spot contact Bonnie Vosburg (Reservation Supervisor) at (757) 253-4939.
Lunch Accommodations: The Jamestown Settlement Cafe offers student box lunches to go; for information or to make dining arrangements, call (757) 253-2571. There is a cafe for indoor eating, as well as, picnic tables available in front of the Visitor's Entrance. No food or drink is allowed inside the museum or living-history outdoor areas.
Special Needs Accommodations: All areas except for on-board the ships are wheelchair accessible. Open-captions are included on many of the films shown and additional listening aids are available upon request. At least two weeks' notice is needed to secure sign language interpreters.
Restrooms: There are 5 restrooms located on the grounds of the settlement in Visitor Entrance & Tickets; Group Arrivals; Theater; Galleries; and, the Riverfront. See map.
Parking: Parking is FREE and located in front of the Visitor Entrance. See map.
Directions from Oliver Hall: From Oliver Hall take N. Harrison Street toward Floyd Avenue and turn right; continue onto S. Cathedral Place. Turn left onto N. Laurel Street. Turn right onto W. Broad Street. Turn left onto N. Belvidere Street. Right onto I-64E/I-95 S toward Petersburg/Norfolk. Merge onto I-64 E toward Williamsburg/Norfolk/Richmond International Airport. Take exit 234 for State Route 646. Merge onto VA-199E. Turn right onto Jamestown Road. Settlement will be on the left.
